The Access Technology Issues Panel will discuss the latest developments in access technologies such as FTTP and FTTN, and how these technologies can work with the rebooted NBN. The panel will also explain how the optimal combination of broadband access technologies can benefit the industry, as well as consumers.

Broadband networks combining fiber to a neighborhood cabinet and vectored VDSL for the last-mile connection to homes already have been deployed in Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, the United Kingdom, China, Austria and the United States.
