Energy Security, Jobs and Real Vehicle Solutions Highlight Nation's Premier Advanced Truck and Bus Event


PASADENA, CA--(Marketwire - Aug 30, 2011) - One of the nation's experts on energy security, Assistant Secretary of Defense Sharon E. Burke, will address the world's largest gathering of advanced, clean high-efficiency truck and bus users and makers in Baltimore Maryland, on October 12, 2011.

Ms. Burke joins an impressive array of high-level experts who will speak to more than 800 expected attendees at the Hybrid Truck Users Forum (HTUF) National Conference & Expo 2011 (visit: www.HTUF2011.org).

Ms. Burke is in charge of Operational Energy Plans and Programs for the Department of Defense and is the principal advisor to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense. Burke, who is a renowned energy security expert, will highlight critical economic and national security benefits of fuel-efficient fleets for commercial and military use.
