(NYSE: ALC) announced that it will present at the BMO Capital Markets Focus on Healthcare Conference on Thursday, December 7, 2006, at 10:30 a.m. (ET) at the Millennium Broadway Hotel New York at 145 West 44th Street, New York, NY.

Laurie A. Bebo, President and Chief Executive Officer, and John Buono, Sr. V.P. and Chief Financial Officer of ALC, will give an overview of the company, the assisted living industry, and ALC's growth strategy.
