Association for Corporate Growth Orange County Showcases Popularity of Private Equity at Dealmakers Marketplace

TUSTIN, CA--(Marketwire - Jan 17, 2013) - The Association for Corporate Growth, Orange County (ACG OC) Chapter, will host its 11th Annual Private Equity Night on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 5:00-8:30 PM at the St. Regis Resort in Monarch Beach. The "Dealmakers Marketplace" will showcase deal flow and feature wine tasting for professional services firms.

Private Equity Night is ACGOC's signature annual event, consistently drawing more than 500 attendees from the mergers and acquisitions community, including private equity firms, investment bankers, attorneys, lenders, business owners, chief financial officers, chief executive officers, and commercial bankers, as well as the "Who's Who" of the M&A market in Southern California.

"Depending on the principals, the ACG Dealmakers Marketplace can be an early stage catalyst for mergers & acquisitions dialogue," said Gerik Degner, event chair and partner at Alpine Pacific Capital. "On the other hand, it may serve to continue building a relationship that goes back months or even years. The deals being discussed here are often complex transactions that take significant amounts of time to bring to fruition. Our role is to be a springboard and facilitate those connections. That's our value proposition."

This year, more than 40 equity and capital firms from across the country will participate in the event including: Alpine Pacific Capital; Avant Advisory Group; Avante Mezzanine Partners; BDO; Bertram Capital; BNY Mellon; Brentwood Associates; Bunker Hill Capital; CID Capital; Clearlight; Cole Taylor Business Capital; Cornerstone Capital Holdings; Cyprium Partners; Dorsey; Duff & Phelps; Evergreen Pacific Partners; First Foundation Advisors; Gen Cap America; GlassRatner Advisory & Capital Group; Grey Mountain Partners; H.I.G. "To their credit, they always look for ways of making it better -- and this year they have done it yet again by raising the bar yet again."
