Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) Announces ACG Cup Competition 2009 Winners

Nine Top MBA Programs Recognized Through Case Study Competition

CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - April 21, 2009) - The Association for Corporate Growth (ACG), the global community for corporate growth, corporate development, and mergers and acquisitions professionals, announced today the winning teams of the 2009 ACG Cup.

The ACG Cup provides MBA students with a unique opportunity to present valuation, capital markets and M&A strategies in a case study competition. Cup competitions are judged by M&A and corporate development professionals from within the ACG community. Over seventy graduate business schools participated in intra-school and regional competitions, hosted by 19 ACG Chapters.

"Congratulations to the over 1,100 MBA students who participated in the Cup competition," said Douglas Schreier, ACG Cup National Chair and Principal, Deloitte Tax LLP. "The ACG Cup competition has experienced exponential growth since its inception four years ago and is quickly becoming a pre-eminent nationwide case competition.
