Association for Machine Translation in the Americas Appoints Olga Beregovaya From Welocalize as Next President


FREDERICK, MD--(Marketwired - Nov 10, 2016) - Welocalize, global leader in innovative translation and localization solutions, is proud to announce the appointment of Olga Beregovaya, Welocalize vice president of technology solutions, as the new president of the Association for Machine Translation in the Americas (AMTA).

Ms. Beregovaya has been an active member and participant in the AMTA for more than 20 years, serving on the AMTA board from 2012 to 2014. As the AMTA President, she will help define and shape the strategic direction of the AMTA.

The AMTA is an association of researchers and users of machine translation (MT) technologies and is responsible for the AMTA biennial conference that attracts hundreds of researchers and users from the MT community, including translators, language service providers and localization departments and translation buyers. The conferences are unique opportunities for MT professionals and enthusiasts to interact with peers, share new discoveries and highlight valuable research trends and data.
