Association Management Practitioners Can Earn ASAE CAE Credit by Attending 2013 Higher Logic Learning Series

WASHINGTON, DC--(Marketwired - September 17, 2013) - Higher Logic, the leading industry provider of private collaboration software for associations, franchises and user's groups, is proud to announce that its four-part "Social Media Survival Guide" webinar series meets the American Society of Association Executive's (ASAE) requirements for professionals to earn or maintain the Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential. To earn credit, individuals must attend each session live.

The third webinar in the series, titled "The Engagement Games," is slated for Thursday, Sept. 26 from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. ET. During the webinar, Andy Steggles, President and Chief Social Strategist at Higher Logic, will share real-world examples of how associations like American Institute of Architects (AIA), ASAE and the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) have leveraged the benefits of discussion groups, libraries, blogs, gamification and knowledge-sharing to drive engagement, promote information-sharing and increase collaboration.

Attendees can earn 1 CAE credit hour for full participation and will learn:

  • how AMS/CRM can be used to improve member management and build a knowledge base;
  • the different types of collaboration technologies and how they can be leveraged; and
  • practical and relevant measures of success.

"Staying in front of ever-changing social media trends is important for association leadership," said Steggles, author of "Social Networking for Non-Profits." "By providing our 'Social Media Survival Guide' series, we are helping to cut through the clutter so that associations -- and their professionals -- can continue to thrive and grow in a meaningful way both personally and professionally."
