Association of Professional Towsurfers (APT) World Championship Names Gottaplay Interactive Title Sponsor for Maui Circuit Event

GIG HARBOR, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- February 6, 2007 -- Gottaplay Interactive, Inc (OTCBB: GTAP) and the ATP announced today the Maui Circuit Event of the World Tour Championship of Tow-In Surfing will be sponsored by Gottaplay Interactive.

"We are pleased to have Gottaplay Interactive on board as the Title Sponsor for our Maui venue. We are poised for a very successful event, and are looking forward to expanding our partnership with Gottaplay in the future," said Eric Akiskalian, the APT's founder and current President. "Since this is the first ever extreme tow-in surfing circuit in the history of the sport, we anticipate a tremendous amount of media exposure at the event."

"Our membership demographic shares the same type of passion for extreme sports and events like giant wave surfing, as they do for the intense interactive gaming experience. Sponsorship with the APT is simply the most natural way to stay connected with the same individuals that make up our community," said John Gorst, Chairman and CEO of Gottaplay Interactive. "We feel very confident that this event will become a great success both now and in the years to come. We want to grow right along with the APT Tour."

Due to the overwhelming amount of interested competitors worldwide, the APT has made the decision to move forward with its first Open World Qualifying Event. The competition window of opportunity has been set between January 15th and March 31st, 2007 for this premier of several more two-day events on the tour. Competitors will be summoned and the event will take place as when wave heights on Maui reach a suitable level inside the competition window dates.
