Astreya Partners Expands Infrastructure Services to Over 20 Countries, Delivering Specialized IT Staffing and Support for Enterprises With Global Operations

Clients Leverage Customized Infrastructure Services and Outsourced IT Talent From Astreya Partners to Support Their IT Strategies Efficiently and Cost-Effectively

SANTA CLARA, CA--(Marketwire - December 14, 2010) -   Astreya Partners, Inc., a leading provider of infrastructure services and IT talent outsourcing, announced that it is delivering IT services in over 20 countries across five continents. Currently, Astreya Partners employs over 200 IT professionals, most of whom work on location at client sites; including the North American, Latin American, European, Asian and Australian offices of well-known Fortune 500 companies. Based on the profiles of its clients with multi-national operations, Astreya recognized a need to support these entities with the same high caliber support for network engineering and systems administration that it provides in the United States.

Consistent with broader macroeconomic trends, Astreya management observed that many large enterprises were enhancing their IT infrastructure support functions overseas. In many cases, this expansion was done to place IT resources closer to where a company's operations were occurring. In a recent report*, IDC forecast that IT spending in mature markets in North America and Western Europe will have grown 5% and 3% in 2010, respectively. In emerging markets, including Brazil, India, China and Russia, annual IT spending is forecast to increase between 13% and 21% in 2010.

Astreya understood that to be successful, it needed to help its clients find personnel not only with the right technical expertise, but who also could work effectively in the culture and environment in the local country. Astreya was able to build upon its proven recruiting and training processes to suit the business and technical requirements of the local end-user, and align with the client's corporate culture.

In today's market, companies increasingly rely on IT outsourcing solutions to help them with access to technical knowledge and staffing flexibility to support full potential of their IT infrastructures. It is increasingly common for end-user IT staff to work alongside outsourced teams of experts who are hired for their specialized knowledge in procuring, configuring, delivering and maintaining mission critical parts of the network and/or the server infrastructure.

Jeff Reschny, vice president, professional services, Astreya Partners, commented: "In 2010, our primary strategic focus has been to provide support for our multi-national clients as they expand and upgrade their multi-national operations and IT infrastructures. We have developed a repeatable process -- customized for each client -- that allows greater efficiency and faster ramp up time in almost any geographic location. Our success in doing this for well-known, global clients has enabled us to vastly expand our geographic presence, and we expect this to lead to even greater opportunities to support our clients in the future."
