Astro-Med Announces Another Contract for Airborne Printers

WEST WARWICK, RI -- (MARKET WIRE) -- March 26, 2007 -- Astro-Med, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALOT) is pleased to announce that it has received a multi-year contract from a major contractor to furnish cockpit printers for a major aircraft manufacturer.

The contract amount is over $6 million with printer shipments to be made over a number of years. As is often customary in this highly competitive industry, both the contractor and the aircraft manufacturer have requested anonymity until later this year.

Everett V. Pizzuti, President, comments, "The significance of this award is that the Astro-Med printers are now clearly recognized as the most advanced in the industry, with features not found on competitive models." Pizzuti continued, "The contract further solidifies Astro-Med's position as the worldwide leader in airborne printers." Although printer price is important, it is not the driving factor in these awards.

Astro-Med is currently furnishing airborne printers for the Airbus A380 and A400M, the Boeing C-17, B-787, B-777, B-747, B-767, and the Lockheed C-130 in addition to the un-named aircraft announced in this news release.

Astro-Med, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of high tech specialty printing systems, electronic medical instrumentation, and test and measurement instruments employed around the world in a wide range of industrial, scientific and medical applications.
