Astronaut Buzz Aldrin Interviewed for eQuest's American Dream Series for Armed Forces Radio Network

SAN RAMON, CA and LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Sep 28, 2011) - eQuest, the leading international job distributor for the Global Fortune 500, in affiliation with eQuest's OFCCP Compliance Division, today announced that pioneering Apollo astronaut Buzz Aldrin has completed the taping of his interview for American Dream with Kristin Best. The interview will be broadcast for thousands of soldiers who regularly tune in to the show featured weekly on Armed Forces Radio Network.

On July 20th, 1969, an estimated 500 million people watched the live broadcast of the first moon landing, marking one giant leap for mankind. Over forty years later, Apollo 11 astronaut Buzz Aldrin looks back to that extraordinary achievement. He walks through the experience as it happened and also shares his views on the future of space travel, the race to Mars and how he struggled to adjust to life back on earth upon his return.

Buzz Aldrin will always be known as the second man to set foot on the moon, but as he says: "There were two people in the crew and somebody has to be first." The astronaut believes that who stepped out first was not the crucial factor at that moment. "Armstrong and Aldrin went on an expedition. But somehow, today, it's very important for us to establish who did something first."

AMERICAN DREAM with Kristin Best tells the inspiring true stories of men and women who have either served in the Armed Forces or entertained and supported the troops, and gone on to achieve the American Dream. The 'never say die' stories of its guests share, encourage, instruct, amaze and fire up Armed Forces Network's vast listening audience every week. American Dream is produced by Fascination Entertainment in association with eQuest, LLC.
