A.T. Fabrication Inc. Receives Funding From Government of Canada

BOIS-DES-FILION, QUEBEC--(Marketwire - Nov. 28, 2011) - The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Transport, Infrastructure and Communities and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that the firm A.T. Fabrication Inc. has been granted funding from the Government of Canada to purchase a digital machining centre and thereby increase its competitiveness and pursue its growth.

"The Government of Canada is always ready to support enterprises that, like A.T. Fabrication, are doing everything they can to improve the efficiency of their production chain and grow their business," said Minister Lebel.

Founded in 2001, A.T. Fabrication Inc. specializes in the manufacture of aluminium structures for commercial windows and doors, skylights, greenhouses and curtain walls. Over the past year, the enterprise has implemented a strategy to improve its productivity. The acquisition of a digital machining centre is considered a key step in this process in that it will enable the firm to increase its production capacity, improve product quality and expand into new markets.

This $154,230 in repayable financial assistance has been granted through Canada Economic Development's Business and Regional Growth program, an initiative aimed at strengthening the conditions conducive to the sustainable growth of Quebec's regional and small and medium-sized enterprises.
