Atacama Pacific Grants Stock Options

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - March 21, 2011) -

Atacama Pacific Gold Corporation (TSX VENTURE:ATM) ("Atacama Pacific" or "the Company") announces it has granted an aggregate of 2,212,500 options of which 1,755,000 were granted to directors and officers of the Company and 457,500 were granted to consultants of the Company.

Each option entitles the holder to acquire one Atacama Pacific common share at an exercise price of $4.65 until March 18, 2016.
