ATCO Structures & Logistics (ATCO) announced today that it has been awarded a contract by a major Canadian exploration and production company to operate a 1,900 bedroom lodge in Alberta's oilsands region. ATCO will provide catering, housekeeping, janitorial and maintenance services over the course of the five-year contract that is valued at an estimated $150 million.
ATCO's catering services will include a varied five-week rotating menu with lactose-free, gluten-free and vegan options. The dining room will feature chef-action stations alongside the regular serving lines, with a pizza oven, deli-style sandwich bar and a stir-fry station. Regular theme nights will highlight international cuisines such as Middle Eastern, Mexican, Greek, Italian and Korean.

In addition to providing janitorial and maintenance services for the facility, which is scheduled to be fully operational in January 2015, ATCO will also operate a licensed lounge, commissary and coffee shop. The lodge's fitness and recreational facilities will be managed by ATCO staff who will organize training sessions and group classes for residents.
