Albertans can now get a better understanding of their electricity bill thanks to ATCO Electric's new online video Shedding Light On Your Electricity Bill. The engaging and educational video launched today on atcoelectric.com walks viewers through the main components that make up their bill.

"Our industry can be confusing and a lengthy explanation often frustrates rather than informs," said Bobbi Lambright, President, ATCO Electric Distribution Division. "Our goal with this initiative is to provide clear, consistent information on how different electricity services come together on the bill."

ATCO Electric developed this initiative because, while electricity bills are sent to customers by their retailer, ATCO Electric's delivery rates are included on the bill. Customers in ATCO Electric's service territory often ask staff to help them make sense of the different charges.
