ATCO Energy Solutions Secures Industrial Water Contract

Will Provide Water Services to Air Products Canada's Hydrogen Facility


CALGARY, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - Dec. 18, 2013) - ATCO Energy Solutions announced today that it has signed an agreement with Air Products Canada Ltd. to provide water services to the company's new hydrogen facility that will be constructed adjacent to the Shell Scotford site in Strathcona County.

"ATCO Energy Solutions recently expanded its Heartland Industrial Water System to serve the growing demand for industrial water infrastructure and energy-related services in the region," said Pat Creaghan, President, ATCO Energy Solutions. ATCO Energy Solutions will further expand its Heartland Industrial Water System with additional pipeline, pumping, and storage facilities to supply the Air Products facility. Construction on the expanded water system will begin in 2014 and is anticipated to be complete by mid-2015.
