RESOLUTE BAY, NUNAVUT--(Marketwire - Sept. 13, 2012) - ATCO Structures & Logistics is expanding its operational capabilities in Nunavut through an agreement to acquire the majority of the assets of 953731 NWT Ltd. The assets include a fleet of construction equipment as well as two lodging operations, the South Camp Inn and the Airport Hotel. Nine employees associated with the operation of the assets will also move over to ATCO Structure & Logistics.

953731 NWT Ltd has been operating in Resolute Bay for 17 years. The acquisition will complement ATCO Structures & Logistics' presence in the High Arctic, and will be used as a foundation to support resource projects as well as Arctic sovereignty and infrastructure initiatives undertaken by the Canadian Forces and other federal organizations in the region.
