ATCO Frontec: Braden Burry Expediting to Assume Yellowknife Ground Handling Services

YELLOWKNIFE, NORTHWEST TERRITORIES--(Marketwire - May 13, 2008) - Effective June 6th, 2008 ATCO Frontec Services Ltd. will no longer deliver ground baggage and freight handling services for Canadian North at the Yellowknife Airport. Since 1999, ATCO Frontec has enjoyed a good working relationship with its customers and this change allows the Company to focus on its core business activities of site support services in the Northwest Territories, Nunavut - and across the North.

Braden Burry Expediting (BBE) is assuming responsibility for these services in Yellowknife - a company with a solid track record for ground handling and loading of all types of aircraft safely and efficiently. BBE intends to offer employment to all current ATCO Frontec employees in Yellowknife that wish to remain as ground handling staff. Since April 1, BBE has been delivering similar services at the Iqaluit Airport. ATCO Frontec wishes to congratulate BBE on the level of service provided since transitioning at the Iqaluit Airport - and on their success in gaining this additional new contract in Yellowknife.

ATCO Frontec, a subsidiary of Canadian Utilities Limited, part of the ATCO Group of companies, specializes in the rapid mobilization and delivery of site support services and facilities management to the defence, transportation, telecommunications and resource sectors.

ATCO Ltd., an Alberta-based worldwide organization of companies with assets of approximately $8.2 billion and more than 7,800 employees, is comprised of three main business divisions: Power Generation, Utilities (natural gas and electricity transmission and distribution) and Global Enterprises (industrials, technology, logistics and energy services).
