ATCO Frontec: Braden Burry Expediting to Take Over Iqaluit Ground Handling Services

ATCO Frontec to Continue Providing Other Services at Airport

IQALUIT, NUNAVUT--(Marketwire - March 27, 2008) - Effective April 1st, 2008 ATCO Frontec Services Ltd. will no longer deliver ground baggage and freight handling services for Canadian North at the Iqaluit Airport.

Braden Burry Expediting, which has a solid track record for ground handling and the loading of all types of aircraft safely and efficiently, will take on these services in Iqaluit. The company intends to offer employment to all current employees that wish to remain as ground handling staff.

ATCO Frontec will continue to provide operations and maintenance services at the airport. The change allows ATCO Frontec to focus on its core business activities of site support services in Nunavut - and across the North.

ATCO Frontec, a subsidiary of Canadian Utilities Limited, part of the ATCO Group of companies, specializes in the rapid mobilization and delivery of site support services and facilities management to the defence, transportation, telecommunications and resource sectors.

ATCO Ltd., an Alberta-based worldwide organization of companies with assets of approximately $8.0 billion and more than 7,800 employees, is comprised of three main business divisions: Power Generation, Utilities (natural gas and electricity transmission and distribution) and Global Enterprises (industrials, technology, logistics and energy services).
