Atelier MD of Saint-Gabriel-de-Brandon Pursues its Growth with Support from the Government of Canada

SAINT-GABRIEL-DE-BRANDON, QUEBEC--(Marketwired - June 22, 2015) - Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED)

The Honourable Denis Lebel, Minister of Infrastructure, Communities and Intergovernmental Affairs and Minister of the Economic Development Agency of Canada for the Regions of Quebec, announces that Atelier MD has been granted financial assistance to increase its productivity.

This funding has been awarded in the form of a $52,500 repayable financial contribution through CED's Quebec Economic Development Program.

Quick facts

• The support will enable Atelier MD to acquire such manufacturing equipment as a folder, shearing machine and air and ventilation system. It will also be used for various leasehold improvements, including electrical work to allow for the installation of the new equipment and the addition of a well pit.
• Atelier MD specializes in the manufacture and installation of polymer (Teflon) liners for tiltbed trailers. It also installs retractable custom tarps for truck trailers.
• The project is part of the company's long-term development strategy aimed at optimizing its operations.
