athleticBaby® Introduces "The Little Athletes™ Program," an Exciting New Series of Hands-On Activity Classes for Children

Building on athleticBaby's Commitment to Promoting a Healthy and Active Lifestyle "The Little Athletes Program" Is Specially Designed for Ages 3 Months to 4 Years

DALLAS, TX -- (MARKET WIRE) -- January 23, 2007 -- With their popular series of children's sports and fitness DVDs, athleticBaby (www.athleticbaby.com) has already introduced babies and toddlers worldwide to the benefits of sports, fitness and physical activity. Now, with athleticBaby's new "The Little Athletes Program," a unique series of age-appropriate activity classes, parents and children can take the athleticBaby experience one step further while sharing rewards of an active lifestyle.

"The Little Athletes Program," will debut at on February 19th at PSA StarCenter operated by Plano Sports Authority, a private non profit youth sports organization located in Plano, Texas. Registration information can be found on the PSA website at www.psaplano.org or email them at PSA at info@psaplano.org. "The Little Athletes" program is offered in 12-week increments and includes one approximately hour-long class each week. Looking ahead, athleticBaby will make "The Little Athletes Program," available to accredited organizations and sports facilities nationwide in 2007, creating a community-based initiative that parents and children can share. The program was created by athleticBaby and experts in various fields, and was also reviewed by their Blue Ribbon Panel of Advisors. Instructors will go through a special certification process.

"At athleticBaby, we are committed to promoting the long term benefits of health and fitness for children," says Karen Foster, Founder and CEO of athleticBaby. "Our concept, of embedding this program into existing youth sporting facilities is a key difference between 'The Little Athletes Program' and other developmental classes for babies and toddlers. Allowing the very young to become familiar with surroundings where, someday, they may be playing basketball or volleyball, etc., is a valuable benefit. Having a comfort level with his/her surroundings will increase the likelihood that the child will enjoy their first team sporting experience, and we hope, lead to a maintained level of athletic participation throughout their childhood and into adolescence."

"The Little Athletes Program" is designed as a six-stage program focusing on gross motor skill development, activities promoting hand-eye coordination and social interaction while building a child's self confidence. Each class combines age-appropriate basic movement, fun-filled group games and non-competitive sports fundamentals. Beyond the exciting social and developmental environment for children, the program will be an educational opportunity for parents and caregivers. Advice on developmental stages, at home physical activity and energetic play activities, nutritional recommendations and more will be available.

The six stages of "The Little Athletes Program"are structured as follows:

-- Stage One: Inspire. Experiencing the world around them. Ages 3-6
    months
-- Stage Two: Encourage. Learning through simple cause and effect. Ages 6-
    12 months
-- Stage Three: Interact. Entering the world of interactive play. Ages 12-
    18 months
-- Stage Four: Explore. Engage the imagination through exploration. Ages
