Atlantis Internet Group Announces First State-to-State Wide Area Progressive Gaming Network Linking Indian Casinos Nationwide

Casino Gateway Network Offers Mega Jackpots and Potential First Nationwide Legal Internet Gaming Within U.S. Borders

LAS VEGAS, NV--(Marketwire - October 28, 2009) - Atlantis Internet Group Corp. (PINKSHEETS: ATIG) announced today that it would launch the nation's first intertribal, state-to-state, wide-area progressive gaming network linking Indian Casinos nationwide. Progressive gaming means that a percentage of the money played by each player in any of the casinos in the network is added to a combined jackpot. This will be the first nationwide gaming network offering mega jackpots never seen before in casinos.

The company's patent-pending Casino Gateway Network (CGN) product, which recently received approval from the National Indian Gaming Commission (NIGC), will offer mega jackpots for Slots, Keno, Lotto games, traditional casino games, and tournament games such as Poker, and more. The network supports a gaming system with single- and multi-player stations built around client-server architecture.

"Our proprietary network product is the first of its kind," said Donald L. Bailey, CEO of Atlantis Internet Group Corp. "This next generation of gaming networks is being launched in cooperation with gaming industry leaders, and will offer much larger potential winnings by linking casino play nationwide in over 30 States."

A library of Class II and Class III games is available on the network, along with accounting, money & credit handling, and ticketing support. The Casino Gateway Network can link games in multiple casinos across a VPN where each casino is at the end of a secure VPN tunnel.

The CGN also contains a feature called "Entertainment Plus," which allows a player to view the results of certain games played at the casinos, but can be viewed over the Internet. A player can purchase chances in a game like Atlantis' Bango Football Pool game at the casino and then check the results online at home or from any computer using a pair of unique identifier numbers issued at the casino. Any winnings must be collected at the casino. Entertainment Plus also features play-for-fun casino games online where casinos offer players complimentary rooms and meals as a marketing tool. In 2003 ATIG was one of the first companies to offer play-for-fun games in Nevada, via an Indian Casino.

According to the NIGC, the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA), 31 U.S.C. § 5361-5367 does not prohibit the use of the CGN in or between licensed Indian gaming facilities to administer Class III wide-area progressive jackpots or to play games like Atlantis' Bango Football Sportsbook/Bingo game, Traditional Bingo, or other Class II games. The CGN, in other words, is the kind of multi-site system the NIGC addressed in its bulletin on the UIGEA.

The Casino Gateway Network can be configured to allow players to access and play live cash casino games from their home computers. Presumably, this feature will take advantage of UIGEA's "safe harbor" provision, 31 U.S.C. § 5362(10) ©, which allows the use of the Internet for intra- and inter-tribal wagers under certain conditions if approved by the NIGC. Many Tribes have already expressed interest in participating in Internet gaming using the CGN and plan to request permission from the NIGC. "This would allow Atlantis to offer the first legal full-scale Internet gaming within the borders of the United States, which was a 9 billion dollar industry before the 2006 UIGEA ban," noted Bailey.
