Atlantis Systems Eduplus Awarded Three Projects for CT-142 Dash 8 Virtual Maintenance Rehearsal Trainers

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Dec. 3, 2010) - Atlantis Systems Corp. (NEX:AIQ.H), a globally recognized training integrator in the military and commercial aviation markets, today announced that its division Atlantis Systems Eduplus (ASE), located in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, has been awarded three new projects for the Canadian Air Force, to provide Virtual Maintenance Rehearsal Trainers (VMRTs) to aircraft technicians employed at 402 Squadron in Winnipeg.

The VMRT projects will provide a virtual training environment for the CT-142 Dash 8 Bleed Air, Main Landing Gear and Propeller Pitch Control systems. The current lack of adequate training aids for the CT-142 system leaves 402 Squadron technicians at a disadvantage relating to practical training. The goal of this project is to increase CT-142 systems operation, to improve fault isolation, and to reduce actual maintenance times spent on these systems.

By developing these three VMRTs, ASE will enable every technician employed at 402 Squadron to rehearse these maintenance tasks at will, in a virtual environment, to maintain technical proficiency.

"These three contracts will leverage advanced 3D technology instruction to improve the CT-142 technicians' proficiency and currency, reduce actual maintenance times and improve overall serviceability of the fleet. ASE is excited to be providing interactive and engaging content to the Air Force and further strengthen our relationship with the Canadian Forces," said Alan (Al) McMillan, Business Development Manager at ASE.

"Our Eduplus team under the capable leadership of Carl Daniels, has once again confirmed the confidence of the Canadian Forces in our ability to successfully deliver contracts on time and within budget," said Henrik Noesgaard, CEO and Chairman of the Board.
