ATS Extends Cloud PBX Offering With AltiGen's MaxCS Platform

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 27, 2015) - AltiGen Communications, Inc. (OTCQX: ATGN), a leading provider of premise and cloud-based IP-PBX and Contact Center solutions, today announced that Affiliated Technology Solutions (ATS) has extended its Cloud PBX solution with the addition of a West Coast Data Center utilizing AltiGen's MaxCS all software IP PBX platform.

ATS was founded in 1993 on the principle that, "Extraordinary service emanates from anticipating the needs of customers and providing solutions before they are required." They are a long time certified partner for both AltiGen and Microsoft. As such ATS possesses the resources, experience and expertise to deliver IT solutions and strategies that ensure efficient business communications, network reliability and security for their clients.

Having deployed hundreds of end user companies on AltiGen's MaxCS premise-based system, when ATS decided to offer a hosted IP PBX solution, MaxCS was the obvious choice. ATS recently extended their Cloud PBX offering with AltiGen's MaxCS all software solution and offer their customers a choice of two cloud deployment models. Customers can choose the monthly Software as a Service option, or can choose to pay for the MaxCS license "upfront" with ATS managing the MaxCS sever in their secure data centers.

For either cloud delivery model, ATS also provides their customers with an integrated VoIP service, enabling ATS to deliver a complete turnkey cost effective business communications solution for their customers.

"We've had great success with the MaxCS system over the years," said Tom Welsh, Managing Director of ATS. "The completeness and reliability of the system combined with the ease of system administration already made MaxCS the best IP PBX on the market. The all software release, which we deploy on standard Intel servers running under VMware or Hyper-V, enables us to deliver a complete, integrated hosted IP PBX solution for our customers."

"For years, ATS has been a leading provider of premise-based IT and VoIP solutions. As such they were well positioned to deliver the hosted version of AltiGen's MaxCS IP PBX to capitalize on the growing Cloud PBX opportunity," said David Tang, AltiGen's Vice President of Cloud Solutions. "We've had a long successful business partnership with ATS, and look forward to taking that to even greater levels with this expansion."
