ATSI Shareholders Approve Corporate Name Change to Digerati Technologies, Inc.

Company Announces New Stock Symbol -- "DGTI"


SAN ANTONIO, TX--(Marketwire - March 18, 2011) - ATSI Communications, Inc. (OTCBB: ATSX) (OTCQB: ATSX), announced today that its shareholders have approved an amendment to its Articles of Incorporation that changes the corporation's name to Digerati Technologies, Inc. The name change, effective March 21, 2011, aligns the corporate name with its primary brand and is expected to increase the Company's visibility with its customers, heighten exposure for its accomplishments in the marketplace, and allow for greater positioning within the industry.

The Company has also received approval from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority ("FINRA") for a stock symbol change to "DTGI" in coordination with the Company's re-branding strategy. The Company's shares will commence trading under the "DGTI" symbol at the opening of the stock market on March 21, 2011.
