Attenex Expands Nationwide Operations Into New York City and San Francisco

SEATTLE, WA -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 25, 2005 -- Attenex® Corp., a developer of electronic document review software for litigation and regulatory response, today announced an expansion of its North American operations into the New York City and San Francisco markets to support increasing demand for Attenex® Patterns®. Paul A. Kelley and Chad M. Smith have joined the company as corporate sales executives in these new regions.

Kelley and Smith will work with Attenex® Advantage™ service providers, the growing national network of Attenex software resellers, to offer a complete solution for law firms, corporate legal departments and government agencies in matters requiring electronic discovery, analysis, and storage and production of large volumes of electronic data.

Kelley has extensive experience in the legal industry, previously working as a senior forensic and litigation services consultant for leading firms such as KPMG LLC and Deloitte & Touche LLP, both in New York City. He also worked with leading U.S. corporations on high-profile investigations as well as the Federal Government on loss evaluation as a result of the September 11th, 2001 acts of terrorism against the United States. He is based in New York City and his territory covers all of New York State.

Prior to joining Attenex, Smith was the National Channel Sales Representative of a tier-one electronic discovery service provider. There, he assisted and developed national channel sales and inside sales departments, while building long-term relationships with AmLaw 200 law firms and corporations by helping them manage costs and increase the likelihood of defensibility in court. He is based in San Francisco and his territory includes California, Nevada, Arizona, Utah and Texas.
