Attention Golf Editors: Bulls Bridge Golf Club Is Recognized by the Audubon International Society as the First Certified Signature Sanctuary in Connecticut

KENT, CT -- (MARKET WIRE) -- December 18, 2006 -- Bulls Bridge Golf Club announced that it has become the first golf course in the Northeast to be designated as a Certified Silver Audubon International Signature Sanctuary. The course, which opened in 2004, is one of only 20 courses in the country to achieve the environmentally prestigious Silver designation. Audubon certified courses must adhere to comprehensive standards which include Environmental Planning, Wildlife and Habitat Management, Chemical Use Reduction and Safety, Water Conservation, Water Quality Management, Outreach and Education.

Bull's Bridge Golf Club is located in Litchfield County, in Connecticut's northwest corner at the foothills of the Berkshires. It is one hour and forty minutes from New York City and easily accessible to Westchester and Dutchess Counties in New York and Fairfield County in Connecticut. It was selected by Travel and Leisure as one of the "Ten Best New Private Courses" of 2004. It was designed by Tom Fazio, America's greatest living golf architect. The course flows across ridges and drops into valleys and displays a wide variety of plant and animal life.

The Club recently hosted the CSGA Tournament of Champions, an event for the club champions of all Connecticut golf courses, and the Connecticut PGA Section Match Play Championship. Those champions and professionals who played the course praised its competitive quality and impeccable playing conditions.
