Attitude Drinks' Phase III® Clinical Trial Results Presented at the National Strength & Conditioning Association Conference

PALM BEACH GARDENS, FL--(Marketwire - Jul 14, 2011) - Attitude Drinks (OTCBB: ATTD) (OTCQB: ATTD), an innovative beverage brand development company, announced that on July 8, 2011, at the world-leading sports nutrition symposium, the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Conference, Dr. Jordan R. Moon of the United States Sports Academy (USSA) presented his findings of a clinical study conducted on Attitude's Phase III® Recovery Drink.

Dr. Moon discussed the benefits of using Phase III in post-exercise recovery to dozens of researchers, coaches, and trainers at the NSCA conference. "This was the first study comparing practical recovery drinks with different blends of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. The results clearly show the advantages of drinking Phase III over Gatorade, Chocolate Milk, or Muscle Milk," he said.

Key findings presented also included:

  • Using practical servings, the study found that when subjects drank roughly one Muscle Milk, one chocolate milk, or 54 oz of Gatorade, one Phase III produced the optimal recovery by allowing subjects to exercise longer than any other drink.
  • Phase III outperformed generic chocolate milk. Chocolate milk has emerged as an ideal recovery drink after exercise by demonstrating greater recovery compared to Gatorade and other sugar-based recovery drinks. Phase III, with a 1:1 carbohydrate to protein blend, was determined to enhance recovery beyond what the data has shown for chocolate milk.
  • Athletes looking to get the most out of their training should consume a recovery drink within the first hour after exercise with the same ratio of carbohydrates to protein found in a Phase III recovery drink (1:1).

"Through Dr. Moon's research conducted at the world-renowned USSA, the benefits of Phase III were scientifically proven to outperform Gatorade, Muscle Milk and generic chocolate milk. We were thrilled that this data was presented to a broad spectrum of exercise scientists, sports practitioners, and health and fitness professionals. We believe Phase III represents a true breakthrough in sports exercise recovery," said Roy Warren, CEO of Attitude. Details of the study are available for review at
