ATW Venture Corp.: Amarillo Drill Program & Amiches Project Update

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(CCNMatthews - May 2, 2007) - ATW Venture Corp. (TSX VENTURE:ATW), ("ATW" or the "Company"), announces that it has mobilized a third drill rig through Major Perforaciones for the eight core hole program at Amarillo.

The Major drilling rig began drilling hole ATWAM-02 (Location "A" - refer to drill plan on company website on 20 April, 2007. The hole was originally planned to be a 300m test of porphyry mineralization. Currently the hole has been extended and has reached a depth of 400m. The hole is being drilled to the south west at an inclination of 60 degrees at the northern end of the main mineralized and altered zone known as "Poposa". The drillhole intersected a quartz-pyrite-sulphide stockwork zone at 70m downhole. To date, 330m of the stockwork mineralization within silicified and kaolin-altered metasediments and porphyritic dacite has been drilled in which visible pyrite-chalcopyrite-chalcocite occurs throughout its length in quartz veinlets and as fracture coatings. Drilling is scheduled to continue until no further chalcocite is intersected.

The core from surface to 200m was split and sent to the ALS Chemex lab in Mendoza for processing last week. It is expected that assay results will be available in 1-2 weeks. The core from 200m - 400m has been logged and is currently being split, packed and readied for dispatch to the laboratory.

The Patagonia drilling rig terminated two attempts to drill vertical hole ATWAM-01 (Location "F"), at the southern target, "Esperanza". The first hole collapsed while in a fault zone, while several rods were lost in the second hole. The drill rig has been moved north to join the Major drilling program in the Poposa target area at Location "P" (ATWAM-03). A total of 17m has been completed at this time.

ATW announced on February 14, 2007 that the Company had entered into a non-binding MOU to joint venture the Amiches Project held by Entropy Resources in San Juan Argentina. As Entropy was unable to demonstrate secure property tenure on or before March 15th (a condition of its agreement with the Company), the Company has now issued Entropy a notice of withdrawal from the MOU and termination of its option on the Amiches Project.

The Company continues to seek promising early and advanced stage exploration targets and is currently reviewing several possible copper gold projects in Argentina and Chile.
