AudienceScience® Hires Peter Bassett as VP of Media Transaction Platform - AudienceScience Connect™

Bassett Departs Glam Media to Manage the High Demand for New AudienceScience Connect™ Business

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - December 9, 2010) - AudienceScience®, a global online advertising technology company delivering digital marketing success, today announced that Peter Bassett has joined the company in the newly created position, vice president, Connect. In this role, Bassett will be responsible for managing new business resulting from the company's recent US launch of AudienceScience Connect™, the premier media transaction platform (MTP) enabling the end-to-end simplification of online media buying and selling. Bassett joins AudienceScience from Glam Media where he was vice president of platform sales.

Bassett has extensive sales experience for ad networks including his most recent position as vice president of platform sales at Glam Media, chief operating officer and senior vice president of global sales at Sportgenic, Inc. and senior vice president of advertising sales at Millennial Media, Inc.

Bassett also spent nearly six years at Community Connect, one of the largest multicultural social media companies. As senior vice president of Advertising Sales, Content and Operations, he conceived and assisted in the launch of the Community Connect classified recruitment content area, which later became the most successful multicultural job resource for companies, recruiters and job candidates.
