TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - March 12, 2014) - Canadian dance-pop trio Audio Playground have hit number one on the US Billboard Dance Chart with their new single "Hands Up In The Air." The song was also featured on the US Clear Channel radio network as it won its Battle of the Beats segment on the syndicated "Remix Top 30 countdown" produced by Ryan Seacrest.
Audio Playground's previous two hits saw them collaborating with rap star Snoop Lion (aka Snoop Dogg) for "Emergency" (#13 Billboard Dance/Club Play) and "You Never Know," (#5 Billboard Dance/Club Play). Their third release "Famous" (#10 Billboard Dance/Club Play Chart) features Canadian hip-hop artist Kardinal Offishall and was certified gold by Music Canada. A French version of the single also became a top hit in Quebec, which helped build their francophone fan base.
