NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Nov 12, 2012) - Audiofly™ designs, manufactures, and markets premium in-ear headphones for discerning music lovers and musicians. The company today announced that it has been named an International CES Innovations 2013 Design and Engineering Awards Honoree for its AF78 premium in-ear headphone. Products entered in this prestigious program are judged by a preeminent panel of independent industrial designers, engineers and members of the media to honor outstanding design and engineering in cutting edge consumer electronics products across 29 product categories.

"We're deeply honored that CEA recognizes Audiofly's commitment to the research and development of quality in-ear headphones. Audiofly looks forward to continuing to accurately reproduce the tone and quality of music in its truest form through our upcoming 2013 product innovations," said Dave Thompson, CEO of Audiofly.

The prestigious Innovations Design and Engineering Awards are sponsored by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA)®, the producer of the International CES, the world's largest consumer technology tradeshow, and have been recognizing achievements in product design and engineering since 1976.

Audiofly's AF78 in-ear headphones will be displayed in Central Hall Booth# 12742 and in the Innovations Honoree exhibit at The Venetian. The 2013 International CES runs January 8-11, 2013 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

  • Aesthetic and design qualities, using photos provided
  • The product's intended use/function and user value
  • Unique/novel features that consumers would find attractive

AF78
Flagship of the Audiofly range, the dual driver AF78 features a balanced armature device, usually found in professional earpieces, and a 9mm custom dynamic driver. The combination draws on the strengths of two drivers to produce amazing separation across the frequency range and delivering beautiful high end detail and well-defined response in the lower and mid frequencies. Listeners can experience music in comfort via the included four sets of silicon ear tips, and two sets of Comply™ foam tips.

The AF78, AF56 and AF45 models all feature the Audioflex™ tangle free, braided round cable made with CORDURA® fabric to provide exceptional strength and abrasion resistance. Created with a classic look, they are also rugged, with Kevlar® reinforcing in each conductor for superior strength and abrasion resistance.

All models are available with Clear-Talk™. Audiofly separated the microphone from the mechanics of the button for better voice transmission during conversations. To prevent outside interference with the game, all models include a noise isolating in-ear design for up to 23db noise attenuation. Audiofly in-ear headphones are available in styles with or without a microphone and feature a gold plated connection.
