Augyva Mining Resources Inc.: New Copper and Molybdenum Anomalies on Kali Property

LA MACAZA, QUEBEC--(CCNMatthews - March 5, 2007) - Augyva Mining Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AUV) is pleased to announce that new copper (Cu) and molybdenum (Mo) anomalies have been identified from soil geochemistry results on its Kali Property in James Bay.

During summer 2006, 296 soil samples were collected along North South oriented lines spaced 100m apart. Samples were collected on 50 m intervals. Analysis results range from 2 to 961 ppm in Copper and from 0.5 to 16ppm in Molybdenum. The strongest multi-station copper soil anomaly occurs over nine lines in the central northern part of the property. A high molybdenum anomaly is superposed to the latter copper anomaly. Several other copper anomalies were identified and superposed to known mineralized structures in the southern and eastern parts of the claims. Results interpretation of the 2006 lithogeochemical campaign will be finalized and announced shortly. Strong molybdenum anomalies ( greater than5ppm) were also revealed in the southern half of the property. These new data support the geological model of the Lake Kali as a magmatic porphyric / mantos (Cu, Au, Ag, Mo) mineralization, similar to these of Lac d'Eau Claire (33B04) and Opinaca (33C01, 33C02 33C08) (MRNQ; Moukhsil et al. 2001).

All samples were sent to ALS Chemex Laboratories of Val d'Or, Quebec, for multi-element determination by ICP-MS and neutron activation analysis (INAA).

The next phase of exploration on the Kali Project will consist in a geological reconnaissance and trenching on the new lithogeochemical and pedogeochemical targets.
