Austin Chiropractic Center Reveals Newly Redesigned Clinic Website

AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - Feb 2, 2012) - Whitehead Chiropractic in Austin, Texas, has announced the launch of its new website, http://www.whiteheadchiro.com. The new website is designed to complement the practice's mission to provide natural pain management with lasting results and enhance overall wellness. The website features include a Wellness Library, New Patient Center and 3D Spine Simulator. The practice provides several different types of adjustments, nutritional counseling, pain relief and prevention exercises, rehabilitation and strengthening, and spinal & postural screenings.

Dr. Wendee Whitehead, an Austin chiropractor, announced that her practice, Whitehead Chiropractic, has launched a new website. The new site, http://www.whiteheadchiro.com, is designed to provide enhanced educational resources to patients about the benefits of chiropractic and wellness care.

"I am very excited to announce the launch of our new website, which will be a tremendous asset to the practice," said Dr. Whitehead. "So many of my patients struggling with chronic pain have tried everything before finding long-term pain relief through the adjustment techniques I offer. The goal of the website is to expand access to educational resources and ensure all patients can make an informed health care choice."

The website features a "Community Content" wellness library with information on non-invasive treatments, like the Activator Technique, Cox Technique and Thompson Technique. Additionally, the new website also includes information on the advanced techniques that Dr. Whitehead uses, such as the Gonstead Technique and Upper Cervical Care.

The wellness library also includes information explaining how adjustments can naturally treat chronic pain and injuries, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, migraine pain, knee pain, back pain, vertigo, stenosis and sciatica. There is also information on how whiplash can lead to chronic neck pain and headaches, and how hands-on adjustments can relieve this pain.

The interactive 3D Spine Simulator is a new website feature that shows how damage to a single disc can impact the entire body, including the nervous system, and cause chronic pain.

"Chronic musculoskeletal pain is often caused by spinal misalignments," said Dr. Whitehead. "The 3D Spine Simulator is a wonderful educational resource that allows patients to see exactly how one injury can cause long-term pain and problems for the entire body."

In addition to providing customized adjustments, Dr. Whitehead also provides Austin nutrition counseling services and is Board Certified in Rehabilitation and Strengthening.

"Proper nutrition and proper muscle strength is essential to building and maintaining a healthy body," said Dr. Whitehead. "I have done extensive additional training to offer advanced care that is totally customized to each patient. My new website explains all of the specific techniques I have in my toolbox to offer patients real relief."

Individuals can also learn more about wellness through the website's new blog. Dr. Whitehead regularly updates the blog with tips on staying healthy, managing pain and avoiding injury.

Prospective patients who are new to the practice can learn more by visiting the "New Patient Center". "I know visiting a new health care provider like myself can be nerve wracking, especially if you have never been to a chiropractor before," said Dr. Whitehead. "The New Patient Center is designed to answer common questions and help patients feel comfortable and confident prior to their visit."

Prospective patients who wish to schedule an appointment with the chiropractor may do so by using the online appointment request form on the website at http://www.whiteheadchiro.com.
