Author Elvis Slaughter Investigates Mother's Mystifying Death in New Book "Ghosts of Hollandale"

CHICAGO, IL -- (MARKET WIRE) -- September 15, 2006 -- It isn't often that sentient beings are contacted by the other side. When the spirits do initiate contact there is usually an important communication involved as Elvis Slaughter, author of "Ghosts of Hollandale," learned as he attempted to uncover the cause of his mother's unexpected death. Not satisfied with the stale explanations of harried physicians, Elvis continued to piece together parts of the puzzle until he found the real cause of tainted blood products.

After Elvis Slaughter's mother dies, a series of eerie events gave him reason to doubt the doctors' diagnoses. He begins investigating, and discovers that a recall of blood tainted with HIV, hepatitis and leukemia was delayed for two years. Slaughter's mother had apparently been the victim of a massive cover-up involving physicians, blood suppliers, and others.

The chills didn't end there. The Illinois Department of Public Health delayed its investigation of Slaughter's mother's death and the tainted blood recall. The Governor of Illinois quotes his own administration as having a "culture of corruption." He was later found guilty of corruption by a Federal Jury. Based on a true story.

Very powerful and eye opening a revelation [for] all people. My prayer to you and your family.

~Tanya (Indiana)

This story brought tears to my eyes. It was difficult to stop reading it.

~Vanessa (Illinois)

Great story. My father knew your parents very well.

~Jeannette (Hollandale)
