Author Jerry Erwin's Latest Novel Finds a Champion in Crossing Chaos / Enigmatic Ink

April Release Set for "Invaders From Another Womb," a Darkly Charismatic Story of Hope, Sensuality and Interstellar Gynecology Run Amuck

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - March 1, 2010) -  Novelist and screenwriter Jerry Erwin is proud to announce the upcoming publication of his book "Invaders From Another Womb," via Crossing Chaos / Enigmatic Ink literary press. Due out on April 1, 2010, "Invaders" showcases the darkly charismatic wit of Erwin, with his gift of satire and genius on full display.

Earlier works from Erwin include "When Spirits Walk," sold as a screenplay to A&M films, "Convoluted Prayers of a Well-Intended Degenerate" and "Off," available in both novel and screenplay form. All of Erwin's novels are available via Amazon and Barnes & Noble.

Erwin is also sharing his writing with his audience through social media platforms such as Facebook and Twitter. He is currently tweeting the entire contents of Chapter 6 of the "Invaders" novel via Twitter -- 140 characters at a time, sharing a critical moment between the novel's two main characters.

The "Invaders" protagonist is P.O. Felix -- gas jockey/forlorn poet. When he takes a job as driver for a suspiciously disabled young woman, Joanne, the reader is cued that strange things are likely to happen. They do -- with a vengeance. P.O. soon finds himself naked, enthralled and incoherent (in an addictive fashion) within her erotic and fully functional "Vessel." It only gets worse when Joanne takes P.O. down some bizarre and dangerous corridors of her being, challenging his manhood, humanity and ultimately, his soul.

"I gain inspiration by NOT thinking and just letting things come to me, such as particular emotions or moments in time, and then isolating them and focusing on their personal, touching or traumatic nature," Erwin said. "When I leave this world, I want people to remember that despite my often dark and confrontational nature, I was always open to and appreciating the profound mystery and value of true love."
