Autism Book Release to Feature Song, Dance and Miracles

7/11 Book Signing of Memoir by The Miracle Project Founder Elaine Hall

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - July 6, 2010) -  Deemed "The Child Whisperer" by the New York Times, autism advocate and The Miracle Project founder Elaine Hall will be signing her newly released memoir Now I See the Moon: A Mother, a Son, a Miracle (Harper) on July 11, 2010, 3 pm, at the Barnes & Noble at The Grove in Los Angeles.

Children with autism will be performing song and dance numbers from their new CD, FLY at the event. Free gifts and prizes will be offered, and the event will feature people from the book, stars from the Emmy Award-winning Autism: The Musical and participants from the Miracle Project and the Vista Inspire Program. The event is open to all.

Neal and Hall's journey is the inspiration for Now I See the Moon: A Mother, a Son, a Miracle, which chronicles the positive and negative of Neal's treatment and development. Now I See the Moon: A Mother, a Son, a Miracle is being published by HarperStudio and is available for purchase wherever books are sold.

ABOUT ELAINE HALL: Elaine Hall is a mother to a son with autism, as well as an educator, writer, performer, and professional acting coach. Throughout her career she has written and directed over 30 children's plays. She is the founder and creative director of The Miracle Project, and the star of the HBO documentary Autism: The Musical.
