Autism Expert Raun K. Kaufman Travels to the UK to Bring "Hope for the Holidays" to Families Touched by Autism

Managing Director of the Autism Treatment Center of America to Provide Free Lectures and Breakthrough Strategies to Parents and Families of People With Autism

LONDON--(Marketwire - November 17, 2008) - The holidays can be a time of stress for many families, but especially families of children with Autism and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Autism expert Raun K. Kaufman is traveling to both London and Birmingham this weekend to bring hope to these special families. Mr. Kaufman has designed touching lectures with the intention of bringing hope during a time when it's needed most, by offering real, tangible solutions.

Mr. Kaufman brings an extraordinary qualification to the realm of Autism treatment -- his own personal history as someone fully recovered from Autism through The Son-Rise Program taught exclusively by the Autism Treatment Center of America. During each of his lectures Mr. Kaufman challenges the myth that Autism is irreversible and provides effective tools for recovery that can be used immediately at home by parents working with children with special needs. He will explain many of the key principles of The Son-Rise Program and share his own personal story of recovery.

Brian Hooker, Ph.D., P.E., bioengineer and team leader for the High Throughput Biology Team of the GTL Center for Molecular and Cellular Systems (a U.S. Government research program) says that "The Son-Rise Program at the Autism Treatment Center of America stands out as the lone example of effective, complete emergence from infantile Autism." Peter Carroll, a TV Producer in England, said, "My 8-year-old son came over to me and put his arms around me and we sat embracing. I have waited all his life for that moment. Without The Son-Rise Program, it would never have happened."

Because this time of year can be difficult financially for many families, the Caudwell Children Charity will be offering lecture attendees residing within the United Kingdom scholarships to attend highly effective Son-Rise Autism treatment programs scheduled for January 2009 in London.

Lectures will be held 22 November in Birmingham and 23 November in London. Parents interested in more information about Mr. Kaufman, his lectures or The Son-Rise Program should visit www.autismhelp.com/uk.
