Autism Experts Share Keys to Autism Progress and Recovery

CEO Fully Recovered From Autism and Enzyme Expert Launch Free Lecture Tour Demonstrating Autism Treatments That Can Lead to Measurable Progress and Recovery

SHEFFIELD, MA--(Marketwire - February 12, 2009) - Raun K. Kaufman, CEO of Autism Treatment Center of America, announced Thursday that he and Kristin Selby Gonzalez, Director of Autism Education for Enzymedica, Inc. and mother of a son with autism, will be teaming up for a year-long Autism Grass-Roots Tour, providing free lectures entitled, "The Autism Hope Action Plan," to share some of the innovative techniques that led to Mr. Kaufman's full recovery from autism, transformed Ms. Selby Gonzalez's son, and helped thousands of families worldwide.

In the US, 1 in 150 children now has an autism spectrum disorder according to the CDC.

Mr. Kaufman and Ms. Selby Gonzalez will be discussing the key principles of The Son-Rise Program®, the same program which enabled Mr. Kaufman's recovery from autism, a program which pioneered many unique approaches to autism and has changed the way children with autism are treated worldwide. Parents will be given concrete techniques they can put into action immediately -- combined with inspiration, humor and hope.

These lectures will also guide parents on steps to take when considering dietary intervention, enzyme therapy, sensory integration, living toxin-free and biomedical treatments.

Lecture attendees in financial need will have the opportunity to apply for scholarships subsidizing upcoming parent training courses taught at Autism Treatment Center of America.

"We are extremely excited to announce that Enzymedica is teaming up with Autism Treatment Center of America to help families with children challenged by autism spectrum disorders. As the cornerstone of its 2009 Autism Initiative, Enzymedica is sponsoring this tour and generously agreeing to fund scholarships for 100 parents nationwide to take The Son-Rise Program Start-Up for free!" said Mr. Kaufman.

The Son-Rise Program is the only program that was created by parents, for parents. It has helped over 25,000 families from 75 countries and employs a more loving and non-judgmental approach to autism than traditional behavior modification, taking a situation that can be divisive and using it to unite families.
