Automated Benefits Corp. Announces Release of Autoben Software Version 2.14

TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Aug. 24, 2007) - Automated Benefits Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AUT) ("Autoben") (www.autoben.com), a wholly owned subsidiary of Automated Benefits Corp. (TSX VENTURE:AUT), is pleased to announce the release of version 2.14 of the Autoben software. This release marks the most comprehensive version of the Autoben software incorporating requested features that allow customers to meet or exceed industry expectations. The stability of the Autoben claim adjudication engine, coupled with the streamlined administrative features embedded in this release create the ideal system for group insurance brokers, consultants, third party administrators and insurance companies alike.

Autoben's market knowledge has been the driving force behind the development of claims payment software that enables its users to become full-service benefit providers, administrators or consultants. Additional builds are currently in development for future releases to ensure the user interface experience continues to be second to none for Autoben customers.

Version 2.14

- Batch printing to service providers

Adjudicators/administrators can now print cheques that are payable to service providers in batch format. The use of batch printing for cheques payable to both service providers and employees should reduce the adjudicator/administrator's time substantially.

- New claim reports

Three new claim reports have been added to our report selection. These new reports enable the user to provide "customized" reports as the menu options offer many selections regarding which data to include.

- Training videos

Two new training videos have been added to our broker library for the convenience of our users. These videos cover the batch printing functions and the new claim reports.

- Behind the scenes

Changes to the architecture in the reporting model of the Autoben solution have greatly improved the speed and ease of use in reporting. The shift from a Two-tier to a Three-tier model enables the reports to be generated much faster in the solutions back end resulting in easier interaction and high performance for the end user.

- Multi-procedure claim entry

Adjudicators/administrators now have the ability to enter multiple procedures for claimants in one step, reducing adjudication time.

- Pre-determination upgrades

Although pre-determinations have always been a component of the Autoben software, recent enhancements have been completed to combine the adjudication screen and pre-determination screen to reduce administration time and promote overall ease of use.

- EOB comment code system

Now included is a pre-set Explanation of Benefits (EOB) comment code system to assist in consistent messaging and reduce user time. The EOB customizable comment area is still available for use in conjunction with the code system. Watch for auto fill comment codes in future releases.
