Automated Vending Technologies Acquires Advertising Product to Significantly Increase Revenues per Vending Machine

CORONA, CA--(Marketwire - June 12, 2007) - Automated Vending Technologies (PINKSHEETS: AVDT), which has transformed food and beverage vending into a cutting edge business with the first fully integrated vending solutions in the industry, today announced another major innovation. The Company has acquired an enhanced digital signage advertising software package that will be utilized to complement its LCD Screen Display on its state-of-the-art product dispensing centers, the RAM 4000 and RAM 5000.

"Advertising involves billions of dollars of revenue annually," said AVDT President Kevin Illingworth. "While a standard flash ad on a product dispending center averages $100 per machine per month, an installed base of just 2000 vending systems displaying a maximum of 10 rotating ads can gross upwards of 2 million dollars per month of additional revenue." AVDT currently has upwards of 1000 vending systems in the operation side of its business.

"This new software package is extremely dynamic and flexible. We now have the capability of managing networks of vending machines equipped with client software and color LCDs, giving us enormous capabilities all from the ease and confidence of our computers located at our corporate headquarters in Corona, California," Mr. Illingworth said. The core software resides on one of AVDT's servers behind a virtual private network (VPN), designed and certified by Manely Solutions, which has significant expertise in network administration.

"Flexibility is inherent in the remote management. All the ads are controlled by computers within AVDT's network that have been pre-loaded with administration software and access privileges. The server uploads displaying ads to designated vending machines based on programmed scheduling date and time," Mr. Illingworth said.

This new, unique software package, along with other AVDT owned technologies, continues to position AVDT at the leading edge of the vending machine industry as it competitively and innovatively grows to fit consumer needs and convenience.
