Automation Anywhere to Discuss the Symbiotic Relationship Between RPA and IT

SAN JOSE, CA--(Marketwired - September 15, 2015) - Automation Anywhere, a pacesetting provider of robotic process automation (RPA) software capable of automating virtually anything, will be speaking in SSON's upcoming September 17th webinar on why IT organizations are now more readily embracing RPA technology.

Historically, IT organizations have been wary of RPA technology, questioning how it will affect existing infrastructure, the amount of IT resources necessary for upkeep, and control over task creation. However, now IT teams are finding value in utilizing the solution, especially when it comes to opening up operational capacity and lowering costs without sacrificing control over processes and protocol. SSON's webinar aims to explain the reasons for the shift in thinking, and show how IT teams are successfully leveraging RPA today.

The webinar titled "IT and RPA: No Longer The Odd Couple They Once Were" will feature Automation Anywhere customers -- Ryan Dunn of USAA and Chet Chambers of VHA -- and Matt Smith of Cognizant, who will share their real-world experiences with IT embracing RPA as a tool that can drive change, and quickly produce real and tangible results. Doug Bell, Automation Anywhere VP of Marketing, will provide the Automation Anywhere viewpoint on IT's previous reluctance to implement RPA, and where RPA is currently being used.

"IT teams aren't simply embracing new technology, they're catalyzing innovation," said Bell. "The participants in this webinar are innovators when it comes to process improvement, and their experiences offer compelling case studies for the value of RPA to scale and grow enterprises today."

The webinar will be part of SSON's virtual open house being held September 15-17. It takes place on September 17, at 1:00 p.m. GMT. You can register for the webinar at
