Automotive Catalogs Double in Number From 2002 to 2007 According to The National Directory of Catalogs
Online Catalogs Jump From 2,000 to 8,402 in Last Five Years

NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- April 30, 2007 --In the catalog industry, the number of
automotive catalogs experienced major growth, jumping from 261 to 553 (118
% growth), in the last five years, according to the 2007 edition of The
National Directory of Catalogs (www.mediafinder.com) released today. In
addition, religion catalogs grew by 109% from 144 to 301, and education
catalogs grew by 52%, from 333 to 506.
"The catalog industry continues to be strong, particularly with the rapid

In 2007, the category with the most listings in The National Directory of
Catalogs was Books, with 1,148. Other popular categories were Apparel
(796), Automotive (553), Education (506) and Gardening (426).
Over the past five years the three catalog categories showing major decline
are: Manufacturing from 474 to 239; Gifts and Greeting Cards from 672 to
345 and Computers from 361 to 236 catalogs.
