Auxilio Launches Five-Step Security Program Development Framework

Webinar on April 1, 2015 at 1 PM EST/10 AM PST

MISSION VIEJO, CA--(Marketwired - Mar 24, 2015) - Auxilio, Inc (OTCQB: AUXO), a leading provider of Information Security Services for the healthcare industry, today announced the release of a five-step recommended approach designed to provide guidance for healthcare organizations looking to develop best practice security programs.

"Breaches continue to make headline news causing healthcare leadership to focus on the security of patient health information (PHI). As many organizations are looking for efficient and structured ways to manage security through the development of a sound security program, we believe the release of our Security Program Development framework will help ease this often complex and resource intensive program development process, "said Mike Gentile, Auxilio's Executive Vice President of Innovation and Security.

To access the Security Program Development framework, Auxilio is hosting a webinar on April 1, 2015 at 1 PM EST/10 AM PST to walk security leaders in healthcare through the five-step methodical approach and to answer questions. The framework includes more than a prescriptive way to build a program; it will include a workbook with templates and a suite of deliverables aligned to the framework. Mike Gentile goes on to say, "This framework is designed to provide tangible next steps and deliverables from any starting point, from no program at all to one that wants to go from standard to best practice."

The Security Program Development framework is the first of its kind to be released to healthcare organizations with such a step by step approach. The framework, focused on Healthcare, is generated from the methodology outlined in The CISO Handbook, co-written by Mike Gentile and includes executive contribution from many of the nation's leading hospitals who have experience building security programs. Auxilio added security capabilities with its acquisition of Delphiis in July 2014. The Delphiis team has been innovators in security program development. Besides publishing one of the first recognized methodologies on the subject with The CISO Handbook in 2005, followed by one of the first dedicated web portals at cisohandbook.com, Delphiis established a SAAS technology platform that automates many of the repetitive tasks during the development process. These were created through countless hours in the field helping organizations build custom-fit security programs. "In early 2000, I would get asked by senior executives at healthcare organizations if they could buy their security program at Best Buy," said Mike Gentile. "We kept assisting our healthcare customers and maturing our approaches through lessons learned until the market need and awareness caught up to what we had developed. Now we want to share our knowledge and what we built because we know lives are at stake."
