AV1 Group Enters Development on the MJIQ Enterprise Software Suite for the Cannabis Industry

LA JOLLA, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 26, 2015) - AV1 Group, Inc. (OTC PINK: AVOP) is pleased to announce that the Company has designed and entered into development on a proprietary software suite that has the potential to simplify and streamline operations in the Marijuana industry for its users.

Brought on board for her wealth of experience in data strategy and implementation, ranging from traditional enterprise systems to big-data-based solutions, Ms. Heather Atkins, Chief Information Officer, will be overseeing this venture. She states: "The market is plagued with financial mismanagement and lack of reportable, reliable data, and we believe that the key to continued growth for small to medium businesses in the legal cannabis market is embracing automation and control in order to ensure profitability." She continued: "There are few companies that are currently marketing cannabis management solutions; and they are generally closed, non-extensible offerings. The MJIQ Suite is being created to:

1. Be cloud- and subscription-based. This approach allows for significantly easier development, along with the ability to deliver features in a manner that does not rely on customers to install, run, manage, and upgrade the software themselves. No hardware purchase is required by the customer, and monthly fees provide recurring, long-term revenue.

2. Have modules that meet the needs of various market segments, along with integration points for point solutions such as industry-leading accounting software. DispenseIQ will be the first release, with product development under way, along with in-depth market research to make the software easy to use and beneficial.

3. Provide data standardization for the cannabis industry. The Suite will have a common data dictionary, which will enable integrations with external data sources, service providers, and analytic solutions. (Internal analytics and reporting are planned for future phases.) More importantly, however, standardization makes consolidation easy and nearly painless for companies looking to combine multiple companies and roll them into a larger organization.

4. MJIQ's open approach will permit future partnerships with companies such as financial services organizations who wish to "plug-in" to the framework as an optional offering.

Pursuing the best brand in the industry, MJIQ is expected to become an immediately recognizable name, and name recognition will be key when selling to a large number of SMBs. The branding will be consistent through the product suite; the name emphasizes intelligence and effective management.
