Avail Media Delivers On Demand Content to New Affiliates

VOD Offering Delivers Hollywood Studios and Niche Programming, Plus Deep Reporting Capabilities

RESTON, VA--(Marketwire - July 8, 2008) - Avail Media, the only customer service-focused aggregator and provider of both linear and video on demand (VOD), MPEG-4 IPTV content, today announced seven new affiliates that will offer Avail On Demand, Avail Media's VOD service offering. The new affiliate lineup includes Clarksville Utilities, NuVision, FTC Diversified Services, LigTel, Guam Telecom Authority, Kentucky Telephone, and Lafayette Utilities System.

Avail On Demand offers the most studio VOD programming available today for both IPTV and cable deployments. Avail Media has secured licensing agreements from both independent programming sources and the major Hollywood movie studios, including Buena Vista/Disney, DreamWorks, Lionsgate Films, MGM, NBC Universal, New Line Cinema, Paramount, Playboy, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros, and many other independent studios.

"With Avail On Demand, we are now able to provide our subscribers with a wide variety of content from both major motion picture studios and independents," said Dent Adams, COO, FTC Diversified Services. "And, we are able to track subscriber behavior -- from what titles are most popular, to when and how our subscribers consume the content. With Avail Media's ViewTrak capabilities, we can measure in real-time how the service is performing in our market."

Avail On Demand is the only VOD programming supplier that provides affiliates with management and reporting capabilities through ViewTrak -- a 24/7 real-time reporting system that allows for monitoring of metadata, advertising material, and program activation and deactivation. ViewTrak allows both affiliates and content providers to track programming activations on a real-time basis. A proprietary solution, ViewTrak provides all of the viewing, accountability, and measurement metrics cited by affiliates and studios as the critical information they need to successfully manage their VOD services. ViewTrak offers 24/7, real-time data on subscriber viewing habits for VOD, SVOD, and FVOD programming. ViewTrak usage reports include total views by program, views by time of day, and total number of unique households. All metrics are reported in a way designed to protect subscriber privacy while maximizing data flow.
