Avanade Appoints New CFO

SEATTLE, WA--(Marketwire - August 20, 2009) - Avanade, a business technology service provider, today announced the appointment of Steve Stone as Avanade's new CFO effective September 1. Dennis Knapp, who has served as Avanade's CFO since July 2001, will retire on October 1.

Stone joins Avanade from Accenture where he was most recently Director of Finance for the United States. In his 14 years at Accenture, he worked in a variety of roles, including helping to create Delivery Centers in both Europe and Asia, which are part of Accenture's Global Delivery Network.
