Avanade Partners With InFocus to Increase Business Efficiency and Agility

As InFocus worked to transform its entire business in order to increase its competitiveness, the company was seeking a technology solution that could be deployed rapidly and give managers better insight into the business. Building on the success of InFocus's recent CRM implementation, Avanade implemented an end-to-end solution built on the Microsoft platform that utilizes Dynamics AX and BizTalk Server to greatly simplify the IT Infrastructure and serve as a platform for continued growth and change.

The new system acts as a focal point for the company to enable business transformation. It takes advantage of company-wide, global business processes to fundamentally simplify operations. The system utilizes standard ERP reporting, with only minor customizations, which enables consistent and flexible reporting. The implementation leverages the services and flexibility of infrastructure and application management outsourcing while greatly reducing IT costs.
