Avanquest's Nova Development and Nickelodeon Introduce New iCarly iSock It to 'Em Interactive Game

Turning Kids Into Co-Hosts of Their Own Fun-Filled Talent Show

CALABASAS, CA--(Marketwire - October 19, 2010) -  Nova Development, a consumer unit of leading global software developer and publisher Avanquest Software (PARIS: AVQ), and Nickelodeon announced today the release of iCarly iSock It to 'Em interactive game. The new software program engages kids ages 6-12 by allowing them to co-host their own Big Sock Web Telethon as seen on Nickelodeon's hit, Emmy-nominated series, iCarly. The game provides hours of fun and interactive game play with the iCarly crew, special game tool tips, cool rewards, exclusive performance feedback and five new animated comics.

"We're pleased to add iCarly iSock It to 'Em to our portfolio of software game titles," said Shaan Kandawalla, Vice President of digital retail games for Nickelodeon/MTVN Kids and Family Group. "Nova's software allows kids to take game play to a new level by bringing the cast of iCarly right in their homes. They will love being part of this new experience with their favorite stars."

"Featuring characters from one of the top-ranked TV shows, iCarly iSock It to'Em keeps kids inspired and engaged through a fun-filled talent show," added Todd Helfstein, President of Nova Development.

In iCarly iSock It to 'Em kids step into the spotlight and help Carly and her friends Spencer, Sam and Freddy co-host the Web Telethon by getting all of Carly's silly and fun telethon performers on stage in time. The more points the performance acts receive, the more socks get donated to Spencer for the gigantic sock sculpture he is creating for his friend Socko. While co-hosting the Telethon, players get to:

  • Help Carly keep the gigantic sock telethon online

  • Make sure Freddie keeps his camera in focus

  • Keep Spencer and Sam out of trouble at the Judge's Table

  • Be on the lookout for unhappy performers, broken lights, sock attacks and more that can delay the telethon acts

iCarly iSock It to 'Em is now available for $19.99 at major retailers and online at This Nickelodeon software is compatible with Microsoft Windows® XP, Vista® and 7 and requires 512 MB of RAM and a CD-ROM drive.
