Avanti Mining Reports Issuance of Stock Options

VANCOUVER, BC--(Marketwire - February 11, 2011) - Avanti Mining Inc. (TSX-V: AVT) ("Avanti") announced that pursuant to its Stock Option Plan it has granted an aggregate of 6,225,000 incentive stock options to various directors, officers, employees, and consultants of the company at an exercise price of Cdn$0.275 per share. These options are granted for a five-year period, and the grant is subject to vesting provisions. Avanti's Stock Option Plan has been approved by its shareholders and the TSX Venture Exchange.

Avanti Mining Inc. is focused on the development of the past producing Kitsault molybdenum mine located north of Prince Rupert in British Columbia.
